Seal Card Instructions

In addition, there are 15 HORSE HOLD tickets in the deal (1 through 15), each identified by a HORSE head symbol. There are also 60 “TAIL” HOLD tickets in the deal (I-16 through O-75) each identified by a horse TAIL symbol. Players holding HORSE or TAIL tickets sign their name on the corresponding sign-up line on the seal card. This ensures that if the game is not completely sold out in one day, the players will receive their winnings.

Once the game is completely sold out, the operator will announce the name of the game “THE HORSE’S TAIL” and serial number, and that the game is now in play. The operator will remove the HORSE seal to reveal the winning HORSE number. The player holding the ticket with the HORSE number matching the number revealed is awarded the $250 prize. Each player holding a ticket with a TAIL number corresponding with the winning HORSE NUMBER goes on to play on the TAIL portion of the seal card. A number grid is displayed on the seal card to illustrate how the HORSE numbers correspond with the TAIL numbers.

The grid below illustrates one example of a winning HORSE number (13) and the corresponding winning TAIL numbers (28, 43, 58 and 73).

Once the TAIL numbers have been identified, the players holding these TAIL tickets will be referenced simply by their letter – I, N, G or O. The operator will open the “$10” seal windows to reveal the four winning letters (I, N, G and O). Each player is awarded a $10 prize. Then the operator will open the “$40” seal windows to reveal three letters. Each remaining player holding a ticket with a letter matching a letter revealed in a seal window is awarded an additional $40 prize. Then the operator will open the “$75” seal windows to reveal two letters. Each remaining player holding a ticket with a letter matching a letter revealed in a seal window is awarded an additional $75 prize. Finally, the operator will open the “$175” seal window to reveal one letter. The only remaining player holding the ticket with the letter matching the letter revealed in the seal window is awarded an additional $175 prize and the game is over.

“HORSE” prize will be paid out as follows:

1 @ $250

“TAIL” prizes will be paid out as follows:

1 @ $10, 1 @ $50, 1 @ $125, 1 @ $300
