How to Play
Haywire is a traditional progressive seal
card game. The game contains predetermined instant
winners. Also included are 24 numeral combination
tickets ending in a pink 13, qualifying for a chance
at the $250 seal prize, plus a chance at progressive
jackpot bonus prize. Jackpot bonus has ten seal windows
with four jackpot levels.
Players purchase a ticket for $0.50 and open the
five pull tab windows found on the reverse side of
the ticket. Instant winners are easily identifiable
by matching three symbols as illustrated on the front.
All match instant winners have a line drawn through
the symbols in addition to a dollar amount inside
the ticket for security validation. All tickets ending
in red 77's wins $5.00. The 24 pink numbers ending in 13 are hold tickets
(numbers 013 thru 2313, inclusive) offering the players
the opportunity to participate in the seal card portion
of the game. Players having a ticket with numeral
combinations ending in a pink 13 sign their name on
the corresponding line of the seal card's "register" and keep the ticket. When the deal is completely sold out, the bingo operator
will open the $250 seal window to determine the lucky
pink 13 winner.
Once the $250 pink 13 winner has been determined,
the player now has a chance for more prizes. The lucky
pink 13 seal winner will then choose one window from
the four windows from the 1st jackpot level.
Each deal contributes $100 to each progressive jackpot
level for a total of $400 in total progressive contribution.
If the player picks "sorry" at any time,
the game is over and they keep any prizes won to that
point. If the player chooses "jackpot" they win
that level prize and proceed to the 2nd jackpot level.
The player will now choose one of the three windows
from the 2nd jackpot level. If they choose jackpot,
they will win that level and proceed to the 3rd jackpot
level. The player will now choose one of the two sealed
windows from the 3rd jackpot level. If they choose
jackpot, they win that level plus go on to the 4th
jackpot level. The 4th jackpot level will always have
one seal window to open. Under the 4th jackpot level
will always have the word jackpot under the seal.
If the player makes it to the 4th jackpot level, they
will win all of the prize amounts in that jackpot. Each seal card has a clearly defined area whereby
a bingo operator shall write in the dollar amount
of the rolling jackpot.
