How to Play
"Money Zone" is a traditional
seal card game in a spiral pattern. The game contains
both predetermined instant winners and tickets qualifying
the purchaser for seal card play. Three like symbols
in a row (Dollar Signs, Cherries, Bars, Lemons, or
7's) entitle a player to a prize as specified. Numeral
combinations ending in blue "88" or "99"
have a prize value of 50 cents ($0.50). Tickets with
numeral combinations ending in red "13" qualify for
a chance at the seal card play.
Players purchase a ticket for $0.50
and open the five break-open windows found on the
reverse side of the ticket. The winning symbol combinations
are identified on the front of the ticket and consist
of three like symbols in a row or numeral combinations
ending a blue "88" or blue "99."
In the case of an instant winning ticket, the total
prize value appears within the ticket in a yellow
box labeled "Card Pays".
Also included are tickets which,
when opened, reveal a numeral combination ending in
a red "13." These are "hold" tickets
(numbers 013 through 2313 inclusive) offering the
player the opportunity to participate in the seal
card portion of the game. Players having a ticket
with a numeral combination ending in a red "13"
sign their name on the corresponding line of the seal
card's "register" and keep the ticket.
When the register is filled, the
game operator opens the first level of seals marked
"$20" in the clockwise spiral pattern to
reveal four numerals, each of which end in "13";
each of the five players are awarded $20. The second
level of seals marked "$30" is then opened
revealing only three of the original give numbers
(two players are eliminated); each of the three players
win an additional $30. The final seal marked "$200"
is then opened, where one of the remaining three players
(two more are eliminated) wins another $200, bringing their total prize value
to $250; the seal card
portion of the game is then complete.
